Pupils of Professional Education Establishments will present four programmes in Vērmane Garden during the XIII Latvian School Youth Song and Dance Festival:
1) a concert programme featuring choirs, vocal ensembles, soloists, folk dance groups, theatre clubs and other talents;
2) hairstyle and fashion demonstrations in collaboration with hair and make-up artists;
3) a vocal-instrumental ensemble concert;
4) creative workshops demonstrating the woodworking, construction, floristry, stylist, pastry chef and other professions.
The creative and thrilling thing that professional education pupils are proud of is the fact that they can create, show, demonstrate and broadcast to others. Around 350 participants from all of Latvia’s historical regions — Kurzeme, Vidzeme, Zemgale, Latgale and Sēlija — will take part in the professional education programme in Vērmane Garden.
