It can seem like the world of musical instruments can no longer surprise us with its variety, but among this richness is one which attracts attention for its beauty and alluring name: the accordion. For the first time in Song Festival history, this instrument will have its own concert. Currently, almost 400 pupils are learning the accordion in Latvian schools, and soon many of them will meet on the stage of the Dailes Theatre to experience this first together: the sound of the massed orchestra in The Accordion Resounds.
